In that case its a Cutlass Supreme.
Cutlass Cruiser is the station wagon, and to my knowledge no one makes one in any scale.

Well I'd say the MCCH has completely changed it's tune about Banger racing. I've showed them my Bonkers & Chunky Ford Sierras, Bears Buick Regal and Shark Jag purely for the signwriting, and they're stunned by how good it is
, particularly the Ford Sierras

Hello again folks!!! As you probably know I'm very new to this forum and I've spent the last while just looking through all the threads with all the various topics. There is indeed some crackin looking models being done by you all, keep up the good work I say!! My Work In Progress is no where near as busy as anyone one here unfortunately, currently have a 1/43rd 3 Door Sierra Cosworth stripped down in readiness for turning into a Saloon Stock Car.Used a Dremmel to grind off the arches and also to cut the front and rear bumpers off and a small part of the front panel to accomadate the box section bumper, need to source a better set of rims for it as I dont think it'll look too hot with cossie rims Also have a Vanguards MK1 Granny stripped in readiness to be made into a banger, quite fancy doing it in either, Levellers,TSB or The Mob colours Once I get myself organised I'll post up some W.I.P pics and guage everyones opinion if I can cut it as a modeller!! On a slightly different note but still connected in a small way I suppose(that sounds kinda dumb doesn't it ) I've a few larger scale models of stock cars I've had done. Mostly been saloons so far, but have also had a few F1s done and some F2's.Theyre 1/12th scale shells which are used for R/C racing but they've been modified to hopefully look more like the real life thing with fabricated bumpers, nerf rails and aerofoils. There's a varied selection of banger body shells available with Jags, Westys, Blueys Granny's etc etc and I may well do a real life version some day.. In the meantime I'll post up a pic of a completed saloon stock car.. the 2006 season car of Sheffield based driver 402 Shaun Webster... Comments most welcome!! CHEERS!!! Andymek.

@ Andy - I take it your a dab hand with tools then
My expertise is limited to long nose pliers, drill (of course) hacksaw and a file
Love the Sierra
@ Dan - That looks to be a late Dinky version of the Cadillac Superior Ambulance? @ Jon - At least I'll make some money out of them - 3 watchers, any guesses who? I'm guessing Bangers-r-us, Jenny and possible Zoe2301 or something, the other person who makes bad models |
