Boot sales are good, but the season is winding down - I've got a large selection of ones I'll probably never get around to doing, so send me a PM and I'll see what I've got

I don't seem to be able to get a decent focus on model cars when taking pictures, anyone know why everytime I take a close up pic of a model it blurrs slightly? |

Does your camera have a macro function? it appears as a small flower symbol either on the button on the camera or on the screen when it is on. It allows you to take photos as close as a few centimetres away in the right conditions |

I did used to play it, but I can't get it to work on my new computer. Excellent game, best Banger game around (in fact one of only two dedicated banger games around!) |

I've always said someone should mod FlatOut in a similar way. Imagine the gorgeous damage, perfect physics and breathtaking graphics!

I do! But I'm not very good at it. Too bad they don't have a PS2 controller for the computer... then I'd be better at it. I'm just not used to using a keyboard to play games. |

The booking list for the 2006 Firecraker is online, there are still many drivers left to book in and some need to confirm what car they will be racing. Some cars on the list so far: 1949 Ford Customline Hearse 1946 Daimler Hearse AMC Pacer 1963 Chevy Bel Air wagon Lincoln Customized limo 1963 Cadillac Fleetwood XL There is also the usual Rolls Royces, Jaguars, old Rovers, hearses and strech limos taking part Full list on this site: www.wellbent.cjb.net |

What a coincidence! Me and Dan must've been thinking exactly the same thing
Booking list for the Firecracker is out, still taking bookings but there are over 100 cars already, looks like it'll be a stonkingly good meet for rare cars, including: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Cadillac Limo Cadillac Fleetwood Jaguar Mk.10 Jaguar S-Type 1953 Daimler Sportsman Humber Super Snipe Cadillac Seville Mk.2 Ford Dorchester limo Jaguar XJ6 Coupe Lincoln Town Car Chevy Caprice Chevy Caprice Classic Estate 1963 Cadillac Fleetwood XL Lincoln Continental Mk.IV Coupe Ford Galaxie Coupe 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass 1975 Lincoln Town Car 1949 Ford Customline Hearse Daimler Sovereign Daimler Majestic Major Limo Daimler DS420 Limo Daimler V12 series 3 1946 Daimler DB36 Hearse Chrysler Cordoba 1972 Rolls Royce Shadow 1 AMC Pacer! 1963 Chevy Bel Air Estate ![]() Lincoln Kustom Car limo Daimler DS420

Wow is right! I thought the DS420 limos, hearses, etc. were fairly rare cars, and yet I've seen a lot of them bangered. Can you guys shed some light on this for me? And a Pacer! I was asking about that one on Ovalchat a month ago. Looks like I'll have to do one! Got any details? Year, driver, body style (wagon or coupe)? |

DS420's are not rare to get hold of as almost every funeral director has them although they mostly have Volvo and Jaguar limos and hearses now, plus they sell them very cheaply when they are taken out of service

Nice! Not truly a 'one off' though! I've emailed the seller and shown him mine
It does look better built than mine though, it's a much smoother join for starters |

I think I just managed slip-up of the week, by doing this to a baseplate I was drilling!![]() The drill slipped off the rivet and shattered the front of the base, luckily the axle is still in there and usable I few minutes after that I was drilling out a Corgi Juniors Mercedes, the same thing happened and the drill went straight through the suspension bar, snapping it off Not one of my best days....... |
