And here it is!

I'd chew my own arms off, then use them to beat a nun to death just to get my hands on this. And for only £20000?!?! Holy crap.

And how about this!

I reckon this will go for just £5000!!! Are these people insane?!

Anyone else found what they've dreamt of on eBay?

That GTX would be my dream car as well!
I don't bother looking at the cars on the bay, I don't like to torture myself :nooo:

My dream car showed up on ebay a long while ago, but sadly went for like $150,000. :( I had to save some pics though.

If I had the money I'd spring for that AMX in a heartbeat! And it's even in Pennsylvania already. Sadly, AMCs are mostly unloved and hence ignored. On the plus side, that means you can pick up a Javelin or AMX dirt cheap compared to say a Hemi Charger or a Cobra Jet Mustang.

My dream car...

Needs an automatic transmission and digital instrument cluster (and the stock steering wheel back in place!) and it'd be perfect.

Swifty, what would you say if I told you my dad had 2 of those?
We had a 1982 and a 1986 one.....Both white and the 1986 came with a spoiler in the back...Wish I could find pics of those.....They were awesome cars. I used to go to college with the 86 one!! My dad sold the 86 one in 1991 when he got a LS400 Lexus and they guy kept it another 6 or 7 years....

I'd say my first car was a white '83 L-type that looked exactly like the one in the auction.

Rust In Peace

I would like to get my hands on several of these cars. White '83 with blue interior, auto tranny, and digital dash is a definite. And I'd like to get my hands on what's known as the 2U4- it's an '84-'86 two tone paint scheme. '84 was a two tone blue, but the '85-'86 was a beautiful two tone blue/silver.

 Good god that first one has horrible wheels! I prefer dark ones with wire-type wheels, like the second one, and for only about £500 that's a steal

I've actually driven one of those wagons. Very good performance- some even had the same 5.7 litre engine (albeit detuned and in a much heavier car) that they used in the Corvette.

This car has been part of the " George Barris Star Car Collection"  and the hood has been signed by George Barris

Got to love Barris' ego... His signature does nothing for me on any car, let alone this one...
