I know it makes people happy,the holidays and all,but I get depressed so bad every year 5 years ago,Dec 21st,my dad died while I was holding his hand,it was rough,heart blew out.Buried dec 26th. I wish I could sleep a week straight,so i wouldnt have to relive it every year <sigh> |

I totally understand the feeling. My dad died in march 1985, I was a teen. He missed all the great events I lived. So my pain is always during Easter. The pain never really goes away, but in time, it lessens. I hope you'll be able to have a great Holiday despite the pain. Don't forget about the people around you. The kids are counting on their Mom to have a great time! Do take care! |
