The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
|
I picked up this horribly tampoed car from Jeff Koch last week, and well, he knew what I intended to do to it. The car's color scheme was perfect- it was green with red flames, and a yellow base. So I left all that, and just detampoed the 'Mountain Dew' logos. The car's fenders had already been cut, reminiscant of a '50s vintage stock car (the car in question was raced in NASCAR) but also perfect for a demolition derby. The problem- this car would be far too valuable to do this to today, but was frequently used as a demolition derby car in the '70s and even into the '80s. I recall seeing a four door example used at a demo derby as late as '91. Without further ado: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Team: N/A Car #: 827 Make: Chevrolet Model: Bel-Air (1957) Brand: Racing Champions Any suggestions on how to make it more realistic for a '70s derby car? |
