This pertains to 1:64 JLs only and includes Zingers, Spoilers, White Lightnings. What models do you have the most of in your collection? Model includes convertible, coupe, hardtop, sedan, station wagon. I have: 51 Mustangs (includes Shelby Mustangs) 43 Camaros. 20 are 1969's. 36 Corvettes 30 GTO's (that surprised me!) |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
|
Too many, and too scattered, to count. I suspect Mustangs top my list, however. |

Hmmm, am I that over-organized?? Actually, for me, that's part of the fun I get out of my hobby. I keep databases for different scales of diecast and I keep my NASCAR diecast in separate databases. I refer mainly to my regular 1:64 scale database all the time alongside Wyatt's sites (for JL & GL). When I'm in my garage it's a different story. That's where my cars are and I have 100's on display to admire and enjoy! Swifty can attest to that!
(BTW, Sean, Sandee gave me an acrylic 108 car display case for my birthday and I promptly filled it with Mopars! )

Hey Mark, I've got all my JL in a database too, and yes, it makes it easy to get count figures. Just for kicks I decided to check those same models. Including duplicates I have: 102 Mustangs (includes Shelby Mustangs) 98 Camaros. 76 Corvettes 69 GTO's But I only display a few of each model in my display cases. |

I have too many and not sorted cars to get an accurate count. I know my favorites are 70 superbee, 69 GTO, first and second generation firebirds, 68-70 dodge chargers, and first gen camaros. |

OK. So there are some organized collectors other than myself!
David, I am not surprised you have yours in a database; if you have a sizeable collection, it definitely makes it more manageable and fun! I don't rotate my cars in the display cases but it's something to consider. Some of my other open cars are in protecto paks stored in a 5 drawer metal cabinet; the others are in 48-car Plano cases. I already know what I want for Christmas from my wife: another acrylic 108-car display case!

I'll have to check my data base when I get home. I suspect it will be Cougar-heavy, followed by Mustangs and Camaros. This should be good, how well do I know my own collection.... |

Mike, I hope you are already planning an area in your new house for your collection - show it off!! If we ever finish our basement, I would like to move my entire collection to display cases all along the walls. Hey! I can dream, can't I??
