Now that the 1965 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 casting is available (got 2 coming from Russ), my fingers are crossed for RC2 (Learning Curve) to do Grand Prix's and Bonnevilles. Assuming the 3 models share the same body lines (do they?), only the fronts and rears will need alteration. This shouldn't require a different casting as I know other castings have been used for more than one model.

I have the same hopes for the '64 Dodge 330 (already 8 versions of that!). Would like to see a Polara. It was pointed out that the HEMI version of the 330 only had 2 headlights instead of the 4 that are on this casting. The Polara came with 4 headlights and 3 tail lights on each side versus the 2 on the 330. Slight changes give more mileage with a casting = cost savings! :)

I'm on the lookout for that Catalina. Maybe I'll get luck soon!

My dad and I almost bought an old Polara when I was out looking for my first car (he paid for it). I held out for the Cougar, who knows, things may have been very different if I went Mopar out of the box....

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
I'm eagerly awaiting finding the new Catalina too! Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's a Catalina in that new 10 pack with the tri colored AMX, right? That set's already on my must haves (aside from the '05 Mustang, I absolutely must have that AMX!) so I suspect my first will come in that set, when I find it. What stores are the ten packs hitting?

You share my thoughts on this. ;) I wouldn't swear to it, but I think the Grand Prix is a smaller car than the Bonnie.

Swifty, I think the 10 packs will only be available at TRU aside fom the online hobby dealers. I got mine from milezone and it is a must have set.

I'd really like to see the grand prixs and bonnevilles done. matter of fact, I posted about them on JLtalk.com about a wek or two ago, an there seemed to be a lot of interest from other members so maybe if the right person sees that, they would be made. I think all pontiacs pretty much had the same style front end in 65, so they might not even have to make seperate ones if they do that year since the cars are similar in size. Although I'd really like to see 67 and 69 grand prixs made. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the bonneville shared the body line with the buick riviera, and the grand prix was alone as a one of a kind "J car".
