The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

![]() Um...wow. I see three of interest here- Simpsons (I already have the first release, but left the repaints), video games (GTA might be interesting, honestly), and vintage Disney. While I'm not a huge Disney fan, they have a huge following and I'm sure they'd be more successful than the Coca-Cola cars. Sin City and Sopranos cars could be interesting...but only if they're real replicas of rides in the movie/show. Tron? Garbage Pail Kids?!? Seriously, I grew up in the '80s and collect '80s nostalgia. I wouldn't even touch these two. Transformers, I'd be all over them. Care Bears...heck, I'd even buy some of them before I'd buy Garbage Pail Kids! ![]() Looking at these choices, I'm thinking Fresh Cherries has JL's attention. Every single one of these has my interest, however! ![]() I'm seeing a Fresh Cherries influence here too. Corolla? Wow! I'd buy all of these models too. ![]() Honestly, the Lightning is the only one of these that interests me. Most of the rest have been done to death. Pegwarmers. |

The Icon Themes question threw me for a loop. I don't really go for any of that kind of thing in diecast. Usually, when I buy a tampoed up diecast it gets an acetone bath. I would really like to know if Learning Curve pays close attention to the survey results along with the "Comments" area. Since it seems 2007 castings are planned out already, we'll have to wait until 2008 to see if any suggestions come to fruition. |

I didn't like the questions, so they probably won't like my answers

I didn't get this survey, I'm registered on johnnylightning.com, so I'm not sure why I didn't get it. for the first survey I would have picked: WWE, Sopranos, video games, and horror movies. where did garbage pail kids, tron , and cracker jack come from? although i like tron, it's an almost 25 year old movie, so alot of younger collectors won't even know wha it is. and garbage pail kids? WTF? cracker jack is also an odd one IMO. unless they want to put JL cars in cracker jack boxes, otherwise it's stupid. for the 2nd survey: 71 dodge dart, 79 mustang, 70 ford torino GT, 72 ford torino GT fastback, and 74 amc matador. for 3rd survey: all of them. for the 4th: all of them. would also check the "other" box and add 96 toyota supra & 90s dodge stealth/mitsubishi 3000GT. there are quite a few 60s cars they haven't done yet that I would also like to suggest to them, mainly pontiacs like grand prix, bonneville, tempest, etc. |
