I know a few of you guys made your own Christine car from the red 57 Plymouth Zinger that JL made. But for most of us, the problem was getting a hood color that matched the rest of the car, a daunting task!

Now, JL has released a 57 Plymouth in its Coke Family Fun collection, and it has a red hood that is a perfect match to the red on the Plymouth Zinger. I made my Christine in under 1 hour, and it came out excellent, IMO.

Here is the hood on the Coke car, just remove a simple tampo and you have your new hood:

I started with the Zinger body. Then I used a 57 Plymouth chassis and tires from a donor JL 57 Plymouth:

The new hood has all the silver trim on it that all the other JL 57 Plymouths have.
The final result is a clean looking Christine.

The best part is that you don't need to go buy some spray paint and 'hope' that the color matches. This car is super easy to make now.

Looks good! I would have never taken notice of the Coca-Cola car at all! And is it me, or does it look like Christine's "eyes" (headlights) are glowing in the above picture?

I have the 'Christine' model from the earliest days of Playing Mantis. It came in black. Make a good banger, Sean! :D
