I have many diecast 911s. It seems that, ten years ago, any diecast manufacturer worth its onions made one. Some were omnipresent (Matchbox with its #3, which was in the line for like ten or fifteen years; with a multitude of color variations), some were sublime (Siku), some were decidedly underachieving (Corgi). These, however, just may be my favorites.

I have to agree- Johnny Lightning did well with thier Porsche casting. Its a shame the 944 and 914 that were planned at the same time never made it to production. Those would have been awesome. |
