I know some of you are not fond of Jada's, they are slightly larger and bulkier however let me state my case. I have been buying more Jada lately, picked up 9 in the last month, and I am impressed again this year with their detail and quality. The customized look is growing on me, with the over sized uptown tires and custom features, complete with tubbed rear wheels. picked up a sparkly white camaro with a simulated brown vinyl top, it looks real sharp also picked up a 3rd generation orange pace car decaled t-roof, that actually has plastic panels that snap in or out to make the roof. Awesome, love it, the Monte Carlo I picked up is the same, and decelled as a pace car also. Love that look picked up a pair of dragsters, Silver Bullet Camaro and the little red Corvette both with blown engines up thru the hood, the tampos are terrific. also picked up a flat black 57 vette, nicely done up and last got a 06 camaro concept, red in color, love the simulated speakers on the rear window deck. the weight of these babies is what gets me, they are so heavy, I'll keep buying Jada, if the quality and tampos are as nice as these. I have to go somewhere and there is a definet shortage of Johnnies, and matchbox, and new Hot wheels around here. Totally forgot about a 55 Chevy truck/belair combo c/w trailer, a nice blue with flat yellow flames, dual wheels on the trailer, steel checkeplate deck on the trailer real nice combo. Love them Motormax, Jada, and Maisto are certainly getting a second look by me, and even when the others show up. I'll still be checking outthese 3 manufacturers

when i was first starting out a little over a year ago, i was hesitant to start with the Jadas and Maistos because of the size. But I just keep them seperate from the 1/64s, I like them. The nice thing about jada is they use screws instea of rivets, so wheel swaps are real easy. whatever scale they're in, not 1/64 like they say, probably close to 1/55 or 1/56, i wish they would be a little more consistant with the scale. I hat when you have a mustang bigger than an impala, but JL does the same thing. |
