Mr.Bowtie

Last year us diecast enthusiasts up here in Canada were treated to 1$ Johnnies, as Walmart liquidated all the old blister on cardstock Johnnies. THis year we have FOOSE in the bins of death. $1.44 each, limited castings, but I have managed to pick up several Bowties over the last month. I am not totally sure what turns me off about these babies, but I am not a real big fan. But thats what I used to say about Jada. Now I buy all the Jada Bowties I can find. Let me corrct that, still not buying the huge over sized tired rigs that your can roll a matchbox car under without it getting caught up. Maybe I should open up my FOOSE and play with them for awhile. Compare them to Jada inch by inch and oz. by oz. Tampo by tampo. Any way, to all those Canuck collectors, #1.44 for a $5.42 car, good buy collector or not cheers

some of the Foose cars are very close in size to jada. the thing that sets them apart, the foose cars are all true to scale with each other, just like greenlight does. so where the chevelle may be close in size from both brands, the foose camaro will be a little smaller, and the impala bigger, then their jada counterparts. |

This was a series I could never warm up to ...... even at a buck forty four. Cars were too big, too bland, and too "customized" for my tastes. (apparently too many others had similar tastes to mine?) |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

Same here, and for the same reasons. |

I'm with you guys - I have none of these. Passed on the chase car as well. Just not my taste. |

James, buy the ones that YOU LIKE. I must admit that I did buy a few of them in the past, but not at $1.44 each. I thought that I paid $3.92 but not sure anymore. My local Walmart still hasn't put any of the $1.44 ones out yet. I did a little research on the castings some time ago. There are a few that I would buy but many of the others just don't interest me. Cheers. Cobra |
