For those that have the opportunity to attend the New England Johnny Jam, please share your favorite memory with everyone.

I will start. I have been to both 2006 & 2007 Jams and thy were a blast! If I were to choose, I would have to say my favorite memory was the post Jam party from the first year. The reason I chose this as my favorite is because I got to sit around with a group of guys and form a freindship with all of them. That chicken was awesome too!

Actually, my favorite memory was the hospitality of all the guys up there an the tour that Rich took us on around town was just too cool! For me that was my favorite part of the trip but not part of the event.

Rich, I can not thank you enough for putting us up both years! I was amazed that you asked us back after you met Swifty the first year! LOL

OK, now tell us your favorite memory guys!

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Two words: Ward Burton.

"We jus' blow'd up! Jus' blow'd up!"

Dave Antonelli and I started getting into NASCAR racing, or more specifically, NASCAR racing in the '70s-'90s before it got boring. Dave started doing his Ward Burton impression and the rest of us all cracked up.

I thought it was so funny when we left Johnny Jam I and my 7 year old son was upset because he forgot to ask for Daves daughters phone number LOL (sorry Dave I can't remember her name) It was so funny because 1 the age difference and 2 he had never called or asked to call anyone at the time. I have no idea where it came from.

For Johnny Jam 2 I was really impressed by Boston Matt. I had all 5 kids with my wife and I and Matt came over and helped me the whole time I was at the Jam. He helped me carry stuff both too and from the car besides all the other help. I think I remember him holding the baby for awhile! Matt if you are reading this You Sir are Great!! Thanks for all the Help.

My favorite Johnny Jam memories????

Wow, how do I start?

From JJ '06:
Seeing a table full of Goody bags neatly lined up on display

Witnessing a barrage of cool trades

Leaving my table full of Trade Bait, and not only not worrying about someone ripping me off, but actually finding a WL in there that I didn't come there with!

Seeing Midtown/Boston Matt slipping cars to little kids, while putting his finger uo to his lips (sssshhhhhhh)

Realizing what a soft-spoken, cool guy Matt is

Bill Hicks' son trading like crazy, and getting the better of many a savy grownup trader!

Seeing a yard full of people in Dave's backyard, and looking at Rob, Dave, Bill and Mark as we all looked at each other with disbelief: "we did this ........ cooool!!!!"

Of course, "I dunno ...... I come outta toin tree, and she just blow'd up!"

Jan's late night chicken wings, sittin' around, chatting with guys I've only met on a diecast board before

Jam '07 memories coming up next.

By the way, Nick; it was a ball having you guys stay over both years. but that '06 breakfast outdoors and the tour around Newport (hello, ET!) was the best! Thanks to you guys for bringing your company to visit with Lucy and me, and Rick, thanks for bringing your little guy along last year.

I too am exploring the garage today. But as far as favorite memories from last years jam, the entire day was just incredible. The ride up and back with Pierre and Kim was fun...especially the kid at the gas station we stopped at when we slightly lost our way

I don't suppose anyone will ever forget the pie in the face ;)

And of course, the after hour jam was great

Of course, Pierre, Kim and I all slept at Mark's house and P&K drove me home the next day, asking me to direct them to the diecast spots in my area. I believe Pierre went home feeling very lucky to live in Glens Falls after that incident. I have no clue as to why

I'm not sure where to start. One of the best parts was being able to put faces to names and meeting so many great people. Watching my son trade with many of you and coming out with the better end of the deal (especially when he traded a simple custom I made to Rob for a WL!). Not to mention the generosity of so many of you, constantly handing him things. For a kid that wasn't sure he even wanted to go the first year, he didn't hesitate for '07.
Dave & Jan's hospitality (and the food!), and the after hours party.

And who can forget the pie incident?

I'm already looking forward to JJ08.

Thanks for the read, gentlemen.
I always enjoy reading about JJ whether it was '06 or '07.
It is what collecting diecast should be all about; the pleasnt and fun interaction of diecast collectors in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
I'm looking forward to reading about '08.
Thank you one and all!

Cheers. Cobra
