A Dodge Mirada? Would make a very nie JL casting if painted up right, Your could make a spoiler, a zinger, a BWF and a pip.

The Mirada was introduced in 1980, as a replacement for the Magnum, so the car would be a nice choice for the Eighties (always did love these CMX rims!)

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

The '70s is one of my favorite eras for cars. So many good choices! '79 Mustang hatchback (the pace car casting needs to go away...horrible!)- different front and rear fascias will maximize tooling costs with the '79-'82, '79 pace car/'82 GT, '83-'84, and '85-'86. '77-'79 Thunderbird (MotorMax's casting is off) Late '70s Ranchero '71-'74 AMC Javelin (this casting needs to be replaced badly as well!) '75-'78 AMC Matador coffin nose sedan or wagon '77-'78 Dodge Monaco/Plymouth Fury/'75-'76 Dodge Coronet/Plymouth Fury - maximize tooling costs by giving us all four versions and use this in the HOW series for "Dukes of Hazzard", "Hunter", "CHiP's", and pretty much every other late '70s/early '80s police drama Checker Marathon (okay so the design dates back to the '50s, it was still manufactured throughout the '70s up until '82 ;)) '75-'80 Ford Granada/Mercury Monarch coupe '75 Chrysler Cordoba '75-'79 Ford Country Squire '70 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser |

The 70s. Where do I start!?! The list: 1970 Buick Electra convertible 1970 Plymouth Fury 1974 Chrysler Imperial-casting could be altered by chagning the front bumper and walaa, you could do the 74-78 Newports and New Yorkers as well as they were all essentially the same car 1976 LTD 1975 Buick Electra 225 hardtop Lincoln mark IV 1979 AMC Spirit 1973 Monte Carlo 1975 Malibu Wagon 1974 Plymouth Duster-best sales year-JL might be able to alter the current 71-72 casting 1975 AMC Pacer-JL should do one of their own instead of the oversized RC casting 1974-78 MustangII-Somebody had to buy all of those stangs! Thanks for the thread! Zach |

I would even like to see that color scheme. Bit unusual, but sort of cool

Thanks,it's had that same paint job since about 1980,and it's about due for a new one in at least a few more years, but on the other hand it would be kind of a shame to get rid of the patina that car has. |

Absolutely! The problem is the two pictures represent the only known color schemes for this vehicle. But I'd buy this one in a heartbeat. Out of all the cars AMC mocked up but never produced, this has to rank as one of the better ideas. Gremlin pickup! Considering AMC owned Jeep at the time this should have been a no brainer- smaller and more efficient than either the El Camino or Ranchero. |

I'd like to see the LTD and also a Chrysler Cordoba / Dodge Magnum. What I'd really like to see from JL is some sedans. Like an early 70s Chevy Nova 4 door for instance. |
