I picked these two up for $1.29 each at CVS (photos from motormax.com). I know Dollar General has motormax cars for 50 cents, but I never saw these ones there:

the Expedition is a little more true blue in person. Really nice casting. I think the angle of the windshield is a little off and makes it look kind of mini-van like, but otherwise nice truck for the price. The painted headlighs and taillights make it look like more than a $1 car, if only the wheels were a little better.

The '98 mustang I think I actually already have somewhere in red. Got it from TRU I think. but I liked the dark green color.

I like both of them a lot, especially the Expedition. Nice finds! B)

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
The Mustang should really look good with a wheel change, even some HW main line wheels would look a lot better if they are not too large. The Motormax casting has decent sized wheel wells, not big oversized cutouts like some HW's. :)

Support your local demo derby.

I bought the green mustang last year at dollar general. I think that's as good of a casting as any 93-2002? stangs hw ever did. As for the expedition, the front end looks like a mix between a windstar and a full size Ecoline 350 van. Other than that the paint looks killer and acutally beter than most HWs. Thanks for the pics.
