Malibu 1/64 in plastic display cases; Really 1/64, or "fits all" scale?

New casting? Quick! Take it apart!
They make a decent looking E-type, so I got one. Then I bought a newer XK type, which appears quite larger and not the same scale. (Close to the HW and MB versions)Is there that much size diff. between the actual cars? Anyone have dimensions to see which, if either, is actually close to 1/64? :o

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
From what I'm seeing there should only be about 5 inches difference in length, but that the E-Type is five inches lower.

Going from that, these two cars are not in scale with one another.

I know Jada refers to their product as '1:64', when much of it's actually closer to 1:50...

I know the Audi A6 in this line's 64.

The Range-Rover in this line is also one of the only models that is 1:64. Shame really because there are some nice models in it.
