Does the long awaited rebirth have your interests or is it long past due? Personally I look forward to it. Regarding die-cast I know GreenLight does the IRL cars and was going to do Champ this year now this makes it all much easier. The divorce made me look at NASCAR but in reality if you saw both at the same track, it's hard to watch NASCAR after seeing what the IRL stuff does. The Pace Car this year is at least Americas number one seller.......a Toyota. Good news or pancake on a bunny? |

Mark, the only open wheel race I usually watch all year is the Indy 500. So with regard to that, sure I'm a bit more interested esp when nothin else is on this time of year. When they did split, I know the enthusiasm seemed to really split from open wheel racing in America. I will say this, the Indy 500 is way more exciting to watch than any NASCAR race. On a side note, should this not be posted in the free parking section and not the jl thread? This section should be for JL and JL only. Hopefully one of the lovely mods will move this thread. EDIT: See above posted pinned thread regarding off topic Zach |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

I've just never been able to get into open wheel racing at all. I've always prefered stock looking cars, which is one of the many reasons why I lost interest in NASCAR now that they're not even remotely stock looking. But considering how pitiful the ratings had been for both series' seperately, hopefully a united series will respark interest in Indy car racing.
