The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
The White Lightning Liberation Movement met with representatives of the Random Act Of Kindness organization today and we have the pictures to prove it!

Things started innocently enough. A White Lightning Blazer was seen being mailed from the current residence of craftymore along with an expected shipment of demolition derby cars to the address of the one known as Swifty.

But that's when the drama began. The WL was imprisoned in a clamshell blisterpack. And the other cars in my collection started a protest, driving around waving picket signs.

The RAOK organization was quickly called with news of the protest. After deliberations that lasted well into the night, a compromise was reached.

The WLLM has gained an important victory, and the Blazer drives free!

Here the Blazer prepares to visit (and drive over) the remnants of his prison, and say thank you to the liberating pair of scissors.

And here's me saying THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Zach for a very unexpected RAOK. :) And yes, he did give me permission to liberate it- does he know me or what? ;)

While I don't have a pic by pic story, I too opened a White Lightning last night.
While on the phone with roadwarrior I liberated the WL Holiday Classics 1969 Impala. It's shiny chrome finish blinded me at first as it took its first few breaths! It is now resting comfortably between it's regular brother and it's WL Impala Parade cousin.

Here's a little(very little) known secret: the longer a WL stays in the BP, the more the WL characteristics fade......... :secret:
