Anyone here who has a membership to the JLCC should stop by and check out the new bolt and the 71 Vega wagon featured. I think it has a lot of potential as long as they do it right and not chop off the back or make it ginormous with a 4x4 stance. Anyone else have an opinion? I think the mock up looks nice so far. |

Its a must have for my collection. It looks good so far, and as long as they don't fill the first issue up full of tampos, (I guess it probably will be chrome) Must get around to listing what Vega's i am missing.

Honestly, I'm really concerned they are going to make it another 4x4 monster car. If they don't, I'll buy it! |

That's one of the things that bothers me about it too. First it was a 4x4 then after they fixed it. It always looked like it squats in the rear. I can easily see them modifying and using the same base for the wagon that they used for the regular car. |

Now with that Vega wagon, I hope they do a panel version. If they do, I have the perfect custom to do for it. When I was in high school, I worked at a drug store and part of my job was to deliver prescriptions (aka - Legal Drug Dealer
). The vehicle was an orange Vega panel wagon w/ a 2 speed auto - what a dawg!!! The best part was what was on the roof of the car. There was a mortar & pestle and an arched sign that said: D R U G SI had a lot of "friends" back then...........

Support your local demo derby.

I'd buy one if the stance was correct on it. Just think of all the custom drag projects customizers could do with this casting. If nothing else, it would be good compact demo derby bait. |

I thing the wagon looks nice enough. I'll buy it when the color scheme suits me...and I agree, no tampos. Unless of course they're flames :flamewar: |

Can't wait for it! I almost bought a 2nd owner orange one... test drove it and everything. Called back the next day, and it was sold.

Minivan
|
It sounds good (as long as it is standard), and I'd buy it just because it's a wagon. There aren't many of them around in small scale these days. |

So true. Then again, there aren't many wagons sold in the US anymore. And the Magnum (about to be discontinued) is the only one coming to mind that's even still made by an American manufacturer. They're all SUVs, minivans, and crossovers now.
