Sorry that I didn't have a chance to get these pics up sooner. These are the display cases Chris made for me. I believe these are the first of his cases to feature a red felt backing, which makes the cars pop like little jewels in an elegant setting

They are now housing the three core catagories of my collection, HOWs, BWFs, and police cars.

Here's a pic with the front open, tying to avoid some of the glare.

They arrived well packed in box that Chris dubbed the Frankenbox, taped and covered with loads of saran-wrap, pealing and hanging in places like torn garments. My wife removed the cases from the bowels of Frankenbox and gift wrapped them for Easter. They were the highlight of the day, Chris...amazing work, and looks even better up close than the lousy lighting in these pictures portray. Thanks for doing such a great job

I didn't even pick up on that. You're absolutely right, that does help!

Maybe that red felt will start a new trend. Why shouldn't our collection have a more lush setting, are they not our little treasures? And after all, the JL cases are red, which usually pops the cars, so I figured it would look nice. I think a light shade of blue, like the HWs cards, would look great behind the cars too...or even yellow for the BWFs
