With Swifty posting ERTL's version of the Chevette for COTD, thought this would be a good time post pics of the Welly version.

I had a red version just like this one as a kid. It ultimately ended up as a derby car. I found this version several weeks ago at a flea market for $0.50. This was and still is one of my favorite castings from any brand in small scale.

They are slightly different looking castings. The B pillars are different on the castings. The grill on the yatmig appears to be part of the casting where the welly grill/headlights are entirely part of the base. Wheels are different as well.

I bought two of the welly castings for a combined $1 at a fleamarket at a local mall several weeks ago. The other one has a cracked windshield. I originally bought both for compact derby cars, but I think I'll keep this one posted for my collection in stock form.
