Hi All,
I got told about this site by Daniel H, so I thought I'd share pictures with you of the Banger Racing models that I have just started making.

I make these models more as a hobby than anything else.
I have my own shop and when it is a bit quiet I make these models.

All of my cars are based on actual cars that have been raced and I try and keep as much detail to the original car as possible (All windows removed, Driver Door Plate fitted, Correctly Cut Front Wings, Cut front & rear bumpers, Full H Frame Roll Cage Fitted, Steering Wheel, Drivers Seat and Passenger Plates)

Anyway, here was my 1st ever model.
Based on a 1:43 scale Corgi Cortina Mark 3 GXL
Painted in the colours of Old Skool Banger Racer John Dodge.

Thanks for the comments guys.

If anyone has any Vanguards, Corgi or Dinky that they want to sell, let me know as my stock is starting to run dry!

I'll pop another couple of models that I've done on here a little later.

I found this square plastic tubing in my local hobby shop.
It's a bit of a chore cutting it all up, and bonding it together, and making it fit the car, but does look good when it's in place.

If you are going to PM me, then can you do it through Ovalchat as I am usually reading bits and pieces on there!

OK, here we go again........

My third ever model.....

Vanguards 1:43 Scale Triumph 2000.
Painted in the colours of Triumph specialist 445 Mark Dorrill.

I'm really happy with how this one came out.....but I still need more practice on the sign writing!

By the way, dan, this is NOT the Police car I got from you......that is currently being worked on, so watch this space!

there are screws underneath covered by plastic parts making up the chassis detail - look for arts which arent as shiny as the base then pry them off with a screwdriver
