How does your grading system work? Cs are not very good here in the states.

I like this guys lack of style
GCSE is from A*-E, with a U being ungraded (i.e crap). Anything from an A*-C is a pass

GCE/A-Levels are A-E, with U being ungraded, A-C is a pass

I'll take report cards with As, Bs, Cs, Ds, and Fs :lol: All of those pass except for an F. And the total that you get through high school is used to calculate your Grade Point Average, which is what really matters. Then they wipe the slate clean for college.

It's a bit unfair though. I was an A and B student (about half As, half Bs) except for one subject last year, but that one subject really hurt my GPA more than one subject should. It was the different between a 3.3-3.5 and a 2.9 (on a scale of four), which is quite a difference.

Thankfully, there is such thing as academic redemption here at Clemson, and I was able to bring that 2.9 up to 3.28 over the summer.
