Here's a short video showing a couple of cars that have doors that slide under the car. Interesting, to say the least. I can think of some problems with that design (New England winters with snow and ice), but it has its merits too. http://www.flixxy.com/high-tech-car-door.htm |

The no door dings part caught my attention! Too bad that doesn't prevent the guy next to you with his standard door model from door dinging you... That said, I like this idea. Especially for rear seat passengers- though it tends to blur the line between coupe and sedan. |
