Disappearing doors on a car; doors slide under the car

Here's a short video showing a couple of cars that have doors that slide under the car. Interesting, to say the least. I can think of some problems with that design (New England winters with snow and ice), but it has its merits too.

I'm seriously impressed. I don't see how it can be lighter, but if it works as well as those videos suggest, they could really be onto something.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
The no door dings part caught my attention! Too bad that doesn't prevent the guy next to you with his standard door model from door dinging you...

That said, I like this idea. Especially for rear seat passengers- though it tends to blur the line between coupe and sedan.
