Support your local demo derby.

Seems the Banger/Derby section needs some life here. So here's a few good vids from Derbies across the country.

California Consi
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMAou594M44
90% of these cars are '67-'73 Chrysler Imperials. Out west good old iron can still be found.

Cowboy Crash
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRAWuvd3KxY
More bad Imps in action with some boxcar ('64-'66) and pre '63s in action.

Delta, Utah

Another large open and dry track with an awesome axle breaking hit at the end.

90s Suburban w/a leafed spring front axle. Chryeler New Yorker pointy bumpers front and back. :o

'Burban had a 427 big block Chevy.

'08 Grudge Match from Spring Explosion at Georgetown, IL. I was at this show.

A few suicide Lincolns and the rest are 74-76 Buicks/Chevys. By far the loudest derby I've heard in a while. Between tehe 10 drivers on the track, they had $30,000+ invested in just the motors!

Eri Country Ohio Grudge Match (Team Derby)

Couple of boxcar Imps in this one.

Enjoy!

Support your local demo derby.

Add this show from Utah county. The rules are somewhat similar to the Cowboy Crash in Wyoming, no welding allowed at all on the frames. They do allow 4 point cages, bumpers welded on, and all exterior seams to be welded shut.

But would that create an awful lot of tyre smoke?
