BTW, i wonder if this one could be considered a BWF?? it's black and it has flames. i forget what the rule is as far the percentage of the body that has to be black. either way, it blends in nicely with its BWF monster brothers..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

OMG, i can't believe you trashed those five-0s. i didn't think you had it in you to destroy a mustang let alone a monster one. one thing i noticed is that yours have those crappy bling bling wheels instead of the realistic looking ones. i have two with the real wheels or should say my son and i each have one. i didn't even know it came with the bling wheels or i would have bought one with those wheels for my son as the wheels are the same as all of his other monsters. the ones with the real wheels look like dwarfs compared to the blingys. the pony express definitely dominates your arena. i see a custom WS.6 monster in my future. the question is..... will it dominate the pony express........

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And I think this will wrap things up nicely... Hopefully this be the last of the crushing. The Firebird was an incomplete parts donor car I received awhile ago (heavily playworn- missing spoiler, paint loss) that was drilled out and awaiting customization. The two monsters were wheel donors. They're just propped up on some of the lousy chassis' that Hot Wheels has made lately in their Monster Jam line, hence requiring base donors of older trucks. So this was all junk on my end. I see no reason to continue trying to one-up one another.

The "Five-O"s aren't Mustangs... and my Pony Express is a custom. If you find the real Hot Wheels Monster Jam Pony Express and smash it you will be my hero. They used the Spiderman (Cheetah) body to replicate a '68 Mustang! I could do better...so I did! Also, the Five-O never came on the bling rims to my knowledge. These were wheel/chassis donors (note the lack of an interior/suspension piece) for the trucks that came from the factory with the bling rims. Just junk heaps taking up space on my workbench! The Firebird was a rather playworn example... Missing spoiler and quite a bit of paint. I was going to banger it but well....you went there. You started it, and I finished it (and yes, please let's make this the end!).

BWFs seems to be a popular color for monster trucks. ![]() And I see your favorite truck of all time (Eradicator) is in there too.

really? i thought they were a weird mustang asting specific for this truck. i noticed the double doors and that the taillights weren't correct but the front end really looks like the 199? -2004 body style. to make it up to you..... here is a real deal BWF mustang police car! |

This is the first time I've visited the Arena. You guys are all sick , but I'm enjoying your picture stories. Anyway, I think I have a couple of Monster Trucks, but please fill me in on the Five-O! I definitely need one of these for my cop car collection. I've never seen it on the pegs before. How old of a release is it?

A few years at least, unfortunately. As far as I know they were only issued on the original smaller (more accurate!) wheels. I picked up a bunch to be wheel donors and you can see above what I did with the remnants. Since the bling wheels came out in mid 2004, you're looking at five years ago at the least unless it was reissued and I missed it. |
