Always nice to see Dale in something other than the Chevy he's most known for.

I wonder if this car's paint scheme inspired his later Wrangler cars?

Norm Negree owned this car and he had his cars this color. Also Rod Osterland started a team in 77-78 Marcis was driving the #2 Chevy and it was the same color. I will show pic later,but Earnhardt drove in 4 races at the end of the season in the #98 Chevy that was a team mate to Marcis. So in 1980 Wrangler started with the sponsor toward the end of the season and put there name on the same paint scheme. 1981 was the first true wrangler paint scheme. It did take cues of the 1980 car.
