I found this beauty today, as part of a "lot" purchase at a local antique store. The rear axle is broken, and needs major work...oh well though because it's just plain cool.

Chevy Citation oh man thats sweet, not many Citations made into dieicast. yatming did one, maybe HW. That may be a yatming with no info on the chassis.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Indeed, James is right- that's a Yat Ming. #1032.

Paint's in decent shape, which is a bit surprising looking at the rusty wheels and the collapsed suspension. If you're into customizing, drill out the rivits, pop in a set of new rims (Tomica's standard wheels will fit, smaller Hot Wheels rims will as well), and replace the suspension tab, and that one'll be ready to cruise again!

On a side note, the grill piece is remarkably well preserved. I have a few of this casting where it's hanging out like it wasn't inserted correctly. I think this is the nicest fit & finish I've seen to date on this casting!

Support your local demo derby.

A nice yatming find David. The six dot wheels usually but not always indicate that the casting is a Yatming.
