I posted these on the custom board, but I wanted to share theme as well. I am just so pleased with how these turned out I want to post them everywhere! Come on Mattel, You know you should have never let these two off the drawing board looking like that in the first place!

I have not been in stores chasing Hot Wheels in years, but I have been so excited about this series ever since I first heard of their planed release. And I have to say, out of the first seven cars, I am THRILLED! Super topic selection and beautiful execution.

These may truly the first HW's I have seen that successfully bridged the gap between a .99 regular and a high dollar 100% cars. Not a $5 repaint, repackage, but a unique visit with several of their better racing castings.

My only problem was with the wheel / tire combination on the Sox & Martin 'Cuda and the hideous 4 wheel drive arraignment on the Ramchargers Dodge! Picked up some extras and BAM, problem fixed!

The Cuda now sports the wheel package from the black Snake II flopper (no cutting needed, they fit and roll perfectly) and the Ramchagers now sits on the cassie from the Mustang F/C.

I am so pleased with the new look on these two. They now fit right in with their Drag Strip Demons brethren. We can discuss those door outlines on the Dodge later. I hope you guys like as well. Now get busy and fix those ugly wheels!!!!!
