I got this as a RAOK from my local ebay seller of Tomys. He included it with the batch I just won. ![]() I instant gratification.

I've got a couple of those accessories lying around at home - I'll post pics when I can. They're great with working wind-up parts and such. |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

Very cool! Are these circa the early '80s? I seem to recall a few Tomica playsets from that era that resemble this. |

They were sold since the mid-70s, also in the US in "Pocket Car" blisters. |

Do the buffers actually move on that? |

Yes, the buffers work. The pin on the top connects to a wind up mechanism which moves the buffers. |

On this particular piece, no, they no longer move. The gears still wind/unwind, but the buffers are stripped on the inside. Still a great piece though. |

It's a great working relationship...he has a B-I-G debt to the IRS, and is selling off his collection of 30+ years. He gets to pay on that and I get instant gratification. |

He is a Tomy-source guy, but that's not his ebay name...I'd love to share but then I'd have w-a-y more competition for his cars. With one quick search, he can be found.
