I don't buy all of the "Limiteds" and wasn't that interested in the Japanese Touring Car models, but this one came along at the right price at a local swap meet so I couldn't resist it. It looks good - but is no match for the Kyosho models of the JTCs.![]() ![]()

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

When did this one come out? I think I need to start keeping track of the Tomica Limiteds, because it seems like I have a lot that I need to track down (this one included!). You know what the hard part about collecting Tomica Limiteds is? No, finding them is the second hardest thing. The hardest is trying to go back to regular (newer) Tomicas... |

Yes, this is 1/64. If you like this, look at the Kyoshos in that scale, they leave the Tomica for dead. But the price of the Kyoshos are equally staggering. This one was Tomica Limited #60 from about 2 years ago. Numbers 52-72 were all Japanese Touring Cars. I only have few of them, I don't need the whole grid. If you haven't got that link already, here's the list of all Tomica Limiteds issued: http://www.takaratomy.co.jp/products/tomica/history/limited/index.htm |

Thank you for the link! They're missing a few of the most recent releases but I'm pretty much set with those anyway. ![]() I have a long way to go to get all the ones I want! I'll skip most of the JTCs too, but the ESSO Supra is a must. And isn't one of the JTCs sponsored by Tomica as well? I'd have to add that to my fleet too... |

I'll take some pics of an Esso Supra by Kyosho tomorrow. If you like this one, the Kyosho will blow your socks off. PS: The Tomica "History" website is updated once a year - so you won't find this year's releases on there till 2010. But all of this year's releases stay in the "news" section for the whole calendar year. Edited by diecastdingo, Feb 6 2009, 05:50 AM.

Thanks for the pic and the link. Being a road racer, I would like EVERYONE of those bad boys shown! That's a nice version of the real thing. |
