S + M SIMPLEX (US) 1904-1907

Smith & Mabley Manufacturing Company in New York City produced their first car as a 2 seater with an 18 hp engine. In 1905 the hp was increased to 30 . Bodies were later provided by special order. Bankruptcy assets were absorbed by the Simplex Automobile Company.
The only small scale model known to exist is a 1907 Limosine by High Speed which was apparently only made available by Readers Digest as a promotional offer.
