I'd pulled these out and taken pictures for another forum - I'd forgotten how much fun they are to play with! :D The nice thing is that most have really nice spring loaded actions that are still working - the dyno is my favourite.

But what I got in the mail yesterday really bowled me over. I'd won an ebay auction from Hong Kong, described as Tomica World #1 and #5, good condition. At US$ 10.00, I was the only bidder.

When I opened the parcel yesterday and pulled them out I nearly fell over - these are very early 1970s issues, made in Japan - in the original cellophane wrapper, never been opened! :faint:

I will liberate them eventually - but only on a quiet weekend afternoon, maybe with a nice glass of something, and sloooowly... My mate Dave is coming over from NZ soon, if he behaves, I'll let him watch. :P

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Very cool, and congrats on the eBay score. What do you know, there are still some bargains left on the 'Bay!

My favorite is also the dyno, though I'm also mesmorized by the vintage Tomicas (and do I spot a Mandarin in there too?). :bowing: Great cars you have there!

You must be thinking of the Mitsubishi - but no, that's a Tomica too. But Mandarin have done this car as well.

Yup, that's the one I was thinking of, and I think Mandarin's was even in the same color or close to it...
