where did this porsche come from. lesney england issue 100% original never seen it in plain red before ive only seen it as the racing one i put in the picture![]() ![]() normal version ![]() Swifty's note: Just editing so the pics show in the first post. Edited by Swifty, Mar 16 2009, 01:30 AM.

Good question- I don't recall seeing a plain red version before either. It's possible that it may have been detampoed at some point, but more likely this is just a variation I don't know about. |

This is either an error or a modification. The red Porsche Turbo only came with the "90" tampo printing on it. It never came without (although I do wish it had). What you have there is either an error model, where the Porsche left the factory without the tampo printing applied, or someone else (thinking along similar lines to me wanting it plain) actually detampoed the model itself. Not being sealed and not being mint, it is impossible to say which of the 2 scenarios is the correct one. |
