Depending on interest from board members, it's actually a possibility. I admit, I'd need a committment from a certain amount of members to even consider doing this- there's a minimum run involved, and unfortunately I can't afford to sit on a large inventory of unsold cars. We would also need a logo. Neither the Mustang logo nor the tow truck logo is what we're looking for on the car. The design should be limited to one or two colors (more colors = more money) plus the background color. We also need to select a car to represent the board. Now, knowing me I'd say a Mustang, but that's not necessarily what everyone here might want. It has to be either a currently available car at retail, a Hot Wheels or Matchbox so as to be able to get a sufficient quantity (bear in mind if we go with this option, we're likely going to be stuck with a pegwarmer of some sort), or we can pick something from ColorComp's inventory. The latter option is more expensive, obviously, but saves us from having to track down (and ship) a large quantity of any particular car, and may save us money in the long run. Now, the car they have in limited stock right now that I'm thinking of going with is this one: It's a Matchbox '93 Toyota Supra in dark blue. The logo would go on the hood. This casting has not been available at retail in many years, and the tooling may not even exist any more. So it's definitely something unique. Here's the problem- when factoring in shipping costs (including packaging) using the Supra pushes the price of the car past $10/unit (figuring 50 cars). If we run 100, it would lower it back under $10/unit, but I don't think we have enough interest for 100 models. I'm not even sure we have 50 interested people. Hence this poll. That said, if this is a success, we might make it a yearly tradition of running a Swifty's Garage car.

It is what everyone sees and recognizes on the internet....If the cost of the Supra's is a factor I have 48pcs of the MB59 Camaro Pursuit Police in black or MB Red Vipers(may have 48 of em) I will donate to the cause?

I have been involved with having color comp models done and know this process. The car is fine fine to use and I would just use the Swiftys Garage logo. The MCCH uses the cars as a fund raiser as well. They are usually 20 bucks a car,including shipping. I will take 2.

I was thinking of including a silhouette of a die-cast wheel as well. Keep in mind that it will show up better in person than it does on your screen.
