The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
What I find interesting is that of the four or so cars Hot Wheels has done with opening doors, two of them are Nissan 300ZXs! The other two popping to mind are the C-111 concept (with gullwing doors) and the off road Chevy Blazer from the early '80s. Did they do any others?

The newer one sure is terrible, but I'd love to have it! The older one on the other hand is fantastic; had to add this one to the collection at a show depsite a higher price tag:
