Saw a post on MCCH comparing this one with the new '72. Cool to see this classic one have opening doors which are one of the few complaints one could argue vs MB today.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
It's also nice that the new Matchbox Europa is available in almost this exact color (and is also a '72, and hence has a slightly different shape behind the doors). They make an excellent pair!

This was one of the very first Superfasts, back in '69. It replaced the succession of red London buses.

The casting would eventually be modified through enlarged wheel wells to fit the thicker wheels. The paint would go to pink and lavender metallics, too...
