Post pics here of your favourite Tomica models. I'll start with this one - a BMW E21, which is actually a custom I did:

Wow James!! Excellent work as always.

So I have to choose just one, huh? Why can't I choose them all?

I narrowed it down to two...First is the Toyota Probox. This is such a cool car - I'd own one in a heartbeat. I have several versions of this casting.

Second choice...Nissan March/Micra. Looks great in orange, and the police version is neat.

I didn't think the Tadano would have been anyone's first choice - but there you go!

I think I have it narrowed down to two models - I'll post a pic when I get back home.

That is really a very hard choice for me to make, for anyone who has never seen the  older Tomica line up I have a 1999 Tomy FULL COLOR collectors catalog and it is stuffed with color pictures, unfortunately it is written in Japanese...BUT WELL WORTH THE PRICE..truely amazing and Zach you would not believe the Construction & farm related issues....also while not having a lot of American issues they do have a fair amount like the Mustang II, Corvette, Cadillacs, Dodge Coronets, Ford & Chevy Trucks...even Winnebago Motor homes......160 Pages of pictures & variation descriptions..if you can read Japanese

The book # is ISBN4-7669-3289-7 book has a 1999 copyright. well worth every cent.....

As for picking just 1, sorry can't do it..far too many great issues, as my signature sez...ya can't have just 1!

This is an unfair thread...I go and dig 1 that I think is may favorite and find another "Wow I like this one'. Then I find another, and another , another and so on and so on. I can't make a decision this. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH! I'm having a melt down. :o :o

Sorry - I'm gonna have to post two - I can't decide:

The first one was the one that sucked me into Tomica collecting big time - it was just so different from any other diecast:

This one I really, really wanted and it took me ages to find:

My number one favorite, I fail to find sadly.

1998 Daihatsu Midget II (Borrowed Image)

But my second favorite I still manage to find in my bins. I always liked how the camper part of the van opened and closed.

Mazda Bongo Friendee

The Midget shouldn't be hard to find? Not to mention that any car called the "Bongo Friendee" deserves a special place! :D

Well no, it isn't hard to find.

I just misplaced mine, that I've had since I was eight, and can't seem to find it.

Depressing really.

The Bongo is one rare bird indeed. The green looks good.

I hunted for one for several years before coming across one I could actually afford.

Here in my city, Tomica is few and far between, and roughly $5 - $12 CAD each .

But I didn't think the Bongo was rare?

All of my Tomica are from the Philippines when I had gone there back in 1997.
