Must have been a good time for die-cast in Japan. Two excellent models that appear to be very well done without being copies of each other at all.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Love the engine detail, but the Chericas needed better wheels! I can't help but wonder if that has something to do with their failure...

Apparently there is a different type of wheel as well, which I've only seen on one or two models which I don't have. Possibly a later wheel trying to make them more appealing? After all, it took Tomica a while until they settled in their now classic design.
