For some reason I am drawing a blank on this one , was it detampoed? was there a gold metallic or black one also?

Actually, this release dates to 1996-7 and was available with the Sto & Go sets. The was a bright red version available in '83-'84, and the first version was black and released in 1982. At the same time this burgandy one was available there was a turquoise/blue-green version also (also available in the Sto & Go sets, as was the Frontrunnin' Fairmont in blue). The only other version of this casting I'm aware of is a Color Racer issued in the early '90s. The Fairmont and Turbo Mustang were also issued in that range at the same time.
