It came with a little bonus - a Yujin Tomica mini crawler crane - fits the load area perfectly.

Support your local demo derby.

Looks like a giant spider robot in the back. Did you attend any of the Battlebot or Robot Wars tapings? :P

Ah, it sort of is actually a robot spider. It's a Maeda Mini Crawler Crane for tight spaces.

This is the proper Tomica version (as opposed to the capsule one) - the current #63.

Working tracks, moving arms and crane, it's a lovely model.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
Is the Honda a current Tomica offering? I like that one enough to pick one up!

Not really current, no. It is #18-1, offered from 1971-1974. This must be one of the last batch, as it has the later wheels and "Copyright 1974" stamped on the base. (Prior to 1974 there was no copyright mark on any of them.)

There have been two re-issues to far that I know of - one was the Honda series sold through Honda dealerships, the other was a Police version not too long ago.
