Found this little gem at a toy fair yesterday. £5 was paid for it:

This one is from a time about 30 years ago when Tomica made models of cars from well, every major car making country in the world. Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the U.S and of course Japan. And it's nice to see something other than CHINA on the base.

Tomica are shifting production from China to Vietnam. The first Made in Vietnam ones are already out there.

Really? That's a new one to me! I've never heard about any companies shifting production from China to Vietnam, but it doesn't surprise me. The Chinese want more, including bigger wages, so I'd expect to see other companies shifting production elsewhere in the next couple of years.
