If you have any pics of Japanese-made Tomicas, please post them! First up is the De Tomaso Pantera, one of the lesser-known Italian Supercars of the 70's. Matchbox made a Pantera but it wasn't a patch on the Tomica. The Tomica is well-proportioned and comes in an accurate colour with an opening bootlid. Extra detail has been added: ![]() |

I love the Pantera- and to think, as a kid I thought the Matchbox was a realistic interpretation of the real car. Of course I had never seen the Tomica version at the time, but I had seen the Welly copy that I thought was a cheap generic junker... Oh, how hindsight can be so humiliating.
