June brings a Postal theme to a number of models....

A Toyota IQ. Its number 28 and replaces a Honda Elysion MPV

Posted Image

This is just starting to appear in the UK. Little larger than a Smart car but 3, nearly 4 seats. However for a lot less money and only a few inches longer the Aygo/C1/107 is reckoned to be a better all rounder.

A Suzuki Every van in post office livery. Its no.68 and it replaces a Isuzu snorkel fire engine.

The box set is a postal vehicles one…

The ‘long’ range (numbers 120+ is extended with these..

134 A bendy bus. This doesn’t look to be a copy of the old one.

135 A steam locomotive.

Posted Image

136 Is an airport tug with two trailers and aircraft luggage containers.

Happy collecting...

Chris

The limited, super detailed, release for june is an Isuzu giga truck - in post office livery. (TL 0108)

PS: I shamelessly copied and pasted this thread - 10 hours of holiday traffic and a bottle of scotch will do that to a man - sorry!!!

Perhaps Bourbon would've produced different results? :D

Meh. Does the bus actually articulate?

No idea if it will articulate, but I do like this selection. Then again, I am bit bent...

Bourbon is far worse, believe me! I needed a drop, I drove for hours to a place where the fish are guaranteed to bite. And they bit like crazy - they just didn't stay on the hook the little xxxxxxxxs.

Got sunburned badly too as I left my hat in the car when hiring the boat - :duh:

Thanks for letting me share - I feel better now.

Thanks for the info diecastdingo. :D

Just yesterday I read about the Toyota IQ. And here it is in diecast. I'd like to see more pics of the 1:1 but it would make an excellent addition to my collection.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
I actually like most of the month's additions!

The IQ and Every will be joining my collection, and while I wasn't planning on chasing the truck Limited models, I will make an exception for this one as postal vehicles are a subset of my collection.

But the real winner here in my eyes is the airport tug. Too cool! I need it!

I did not know about the IQ. I want a Tomica IQ! :P

The real car is slightly bigger than a Smart car, but the difference is it has 4 seats. Well, technically they call it a '3 + 1', which basically means 3 adults and one child with no legs.

Not a problem!

Nice to see the news here too.

I imagine the bus will bend. Their last bendy bus had a flexible bellows section (as do the siku models.)

Some of these photos look to be resin pre-pros/trials
