![]() It may be difficult to see in this picture, but the left Ferrari is a slightly darker shade...

Zach, this one was the first Superfast I ever encountered, at my cousin's house, when I was seven. On that one, the axles were already broken. Very, very fragile... I'm sorry the Carabo replaced this Ferrari so quickly. I think it deserved more time wearing SF wheels! |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

I agree! I'd love to have this as a Superfast in my own collection. The wire rims look nice, but a Ferrari was meant to go fast! Superfast even!

Bummer on the axles Sak. Take it the mold for this one is long gone. A shame for such a great casting from x number of years ago. |

I remember how I felt at the time- Hot Wheels get the bends, and Superfasts get broken axles. I also knew that it took a LOT of rough play to damage the axles on RW Matchbox. Within a couple of years, the thin wheels and axles that predominated on the transitionals would be replaced by thicker wheels and axles, and the original science would be left for Tomy to get the bugs out of. I wound up not getting a Superfast #75 Ferrari until the late 1990s. |

Yes Zach it does sit lower than the other one, yet still rolls freely without rubbing the axle supports on the table. |

This is the only transitional Matchbox model I am missing from my collection. I have at least one example of all of the others. Everytime I see this one it is priced more than I am willing to pay. Quicksilver...If you want to give one of those up, I'm interested... Dave... |

Sorry Dave, if it wasn't for the color variation, I would have been happy to trade it. Larry |
