You seem to do well finding Majorettes at these Value Village shops. Shame they don't have the even older issues, otherwise you'd be quids in. |

http://www.valuevillage.com/aboutus/aboutus.php Kind of sound like Catholic Charities or the Salvation Army stores that are around the midwest here. |

Pretty close, the stores are privately owned and solicate donations of new and used anythiing. They pay a contracted amount to a charity on a per pound basis, The Value Villages around here support the Diabetes Society. SO it is like a large garage sale inside, or a Salvation Army thrift store, only a lot neater then teh Sally Anns around here. I check out the Salvation Army Thrift store here in S'Side regularily, Get lucky there some times too with diecast finds. |

Next to HotWheels they seem to be the most common of diecast around the second hand shops. Which is strange becuase I don't remember them being very popular or common in teh stores 10, 15 or 20 years ago. Todays haul 1 HW Power pipes, my youngest daughter collcts HW Power Pipes, and only HW PP's and I found her 1 she did not have 1 Mtachbox Getty Peterbuilt 1 HW generic pickup truck with a big engine in the back 1 Majorette Audi TT and 1 High Speed no 212 Some days you luck out with lots and some days teh pickings are pretty slim, Today's a slim day except for the Power Pipes Care will be very happy |

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

I dunno, that Getty tanker is a sweet find in my opinion! Mine was one of my favorites as a kid. I had (and still do) both the short tanker (which is the one I think you picked up) and the Convoys version. |

Someone should call a wrecker for the hummer. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near a Bomb Disposal vehicle. Seriously tho, nice haul dude! Ernest |
