Pink wide wheel wells

One of my favorites of the early Superfasts as well as challenging for variation collectors.

I have the pink metallic one up front, with the wide wheel wells. A birthday present from my Mom back in 1972, and the baseplate is pristine!

Trying to get the different variations issued, sometimes you end up with a small fleet, many of these were purchased new at the :bowing: local hobby shop, each time they got a new batch from the the distributor, I think it was Bonner? then, one would set down and open each box and compare :toy: , pay your 49-69 cents each  . Then wait for a phone call when the next batch arrived. The good old days...

You know, for some reason I thought it was SSChevyman who posted this picture! I know he's teased with a lot of the purple fastbacks before. My bad on the slipup!
