Has anyone else taken one of these apart? The top part is metal and the bottom is plastic. The bottom half of the body is molded with the interior tub. The hood opens too.

The Mustang II is a Mustang too!
I have yet to take one of these apart. And while I applaud Hot Wheels for their cost saving efforts, this really seems like an extreme way of saving money.

The final result, however, is very nice!

Support your local demo derby.

Believe so Robbie. Ernest said he found this in a 10 pack a week or two ago. Pics of the stock version are in the HWs forum.

Looking good Ernest. The black washing on the front bumper really improves the look 110%.

According to Stangfreak it is available as a single now. Which is great cause I don't wanna hafta keep buying the 10 packs to get one. Ernest

Thanks Zach. I also removed the fender skirts as well. I have more customizing ideas for this casting. Ernest
