One of my earliest. At the time, I thought that this shade came closest to that rarest of variations- the pre-gold look. Actually, the shade's closer to seafoam green. This looks nice anyway.

This Opel was equipped with a Chevy 327. I would imagine performance was comparable with the contemporary Chevelles, given they were approximately the same size...but boy, given taxes (especially in France for instance), it must've been very expensive. Not, of course, as the brand spanking new 250 SE- for all intents and purposes the first S Class- but out of the reach of the VW 1500/Kadett crowd. |
