The Mustang II is a Mustang too!

Those wheels look like snow tires for this casting. It needs a wheelswap- aside from that, fantastic work! |

I think I'm gonna do a little post op- chrome door handles. Looks nekkid without them. I never thought about the wheels- standard Husky- but, yes...they might benefit the car by being smaller. |

I think a wheelswap on this casting would be very tricky. Why did Husky models have to be so small? Shame. |

Actually, this is the second issue. Corgi realized that the first issues of 1964 were rather small, compared to the competition, so, in '67 and '68, they came out with slightly larger scale second issues. They did that with this one, as well as the Jaguar Mark 10, and others. Yes, a wheel swap would be kind of tricky, if I was inclined to do so. However, my feelings are that, if the wheels are operational, and in reasonably good shape, I'm gonna keep them as they are on Matchboxes and Huskys. I don't know, I just feel that they were meant to be. |

It must be the first issue I have then. I'm not joking when I say it's about HO scale As for the Husky wheels, I'd change them if it was possible. Don't you think they look like off-road tyres with those treads?

Yes, the first issue was very small. Both issues were equipped with a boat attached to the roof (good luck finding them!), like the Matchbox Corsair. |
